Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, the 255-acre Green Mountain Audubon Center offers outstanding opportunities for exploration and discovery of the natural world of Vermont. Five miles of trails wind their way through a variety of natural communities including, northern hardwood forest, hemlock swamp, and the Huntington River. Thousands of visitors come to the Audubon Center every year to enjoy and learn about wildlife and their habitats by going on a walk or by joining in one of our many education programs, summer camps, workshops, and events for people of all ages.

We hope that you are among them! Whether you've been here many times or are considering your first trip, we hope that this online guide and field notebook will inspire you to come out to the Center soon - and that you will consider adding your observations, thoughts, and photographs to the site.
